OneRepublic 是美國的一個流行搖滾樂隊，曲風pop-rock/indie/alternative。樂隊成立是2004年科羅拉多州，幾個成員都是受Ryan Tedder所影響，貝斯手Meyers，吉他手Filkins、Drew Brown，鼓手Eddie Fischer。2006年One Republic的天使專輯打破哥倫比亞紀錄，而Ryan Tedder說 "我要讓人們喜歡.我不想有人說,'噢, 他有一個漂亮的聲音。靈魂人物Ryan Tedder從5歲開始就被他的音樂家父親訓練學習鋼琴。Ryan希望他們的音樂能夠像u2那樣給人近似於宗教關懷的感悟，而不僅僅只是覺得主唱嗓音不錯。
從一支標準的地下樂隊到後來有機會與Timbaland這樣大師級的人物合作甚至被點名看好，不得不說是一種幸運，而他們的Myspace也從去年開始始終保持著超高的點擊率，這也徹底改變了樂隊的環境，星路變的平坦，成為了Billboard的熱門選擇。這首Apologize好像最好獲得過Billboard排行版第二的成績，而且還是最近的事。當然同樣也有很多人是因為Timbaland Presents，Shock Value中優美感人的Apologize開始認識這支新鮮的樂隊。

Waking Up is the forthcoming second studio album by OneRepublic and it is due for a release on November 17, 2009 in North America, while being release November 13th in Germany and January 18th, 2010 in the U.K. The band has already performed some of the songs that are expected to appear on the album. Lead singer Ryan Tedder announced on July 21, 2009, that the band's sophomore album would be completed five weeks from that date which was August 25, 2009. The album was completed on that date. The lead single from the album, "All the Right Moves", was released on September 29, 2009 for radio airplay.
